Frequently Asked Course Registration Questions:

  • Aquatic Management Group recommends signing up for your certification immediately after you interview. This is the only way to ensure you will be ready to work when your assigned pool opens.

  • Aquatic Management Group is committed to making sure you earn more with us than any other pool management company; that’s why we don’t offer “free courses with reimbursement” with complicated, ultra-restrictive policies that don’t apply to all our staff. To keep things simple, we offer the best pay to you and charge you for our fees to the American Red Cross and the cost to pay our instructors. That’s how AMG employees earn more, and we keep things easy for you. It’s all part of our commitment to provide a superior staff culture.

  • The course cost is $345 which includes an American Red Cross Certification in Lifeguarding and First Aid/CPR/AED.

Participants pay for the course following their successful completion of the PreReq skills. You are not charged for the PreReq day.

  • All participants should bring the following to their PreReq and training day:

-A bathing suit that can resist high impact jumps, turns, swimming, and diving.

    -Goggles (PreReq day only)

    -A towel

    -A change of clothes

    -A refillable water bottle

  • This is for scheduling. If you chose PreReq day 1, ensure you sign up for a training course that begins with 1.

  • While we recommend AMG training, we accept training from the YMCA, American Red Cross, and Ellis and Associates.

  • Participants should register and pay for the course after completing their PreReq day using the provided link.

  • The PreReq day consists of the 300 yard swim, 7-10ft timed brick dive, and 2 minute tread.

Participants sign up for training days to learn Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED skills following a successful completion of the PreReq skills.
